Upcomming action
Taskforce Whale as part of Operation Pelgrim bow will make a final push to eliminate the hostile force on Altis.
The Taskforce's mission and derived tasked will be divided over all subunits depending on their focus of operation types, in order to gain maximum efficiency. The attack will consist out of a main Mechinised infantry force and a feint attack by a light infantry force in order to distract enemy armoured units. All will be supported by artillery and air assets.
Preparation & manouver
We will only use Vanilla Arma with TFR, CBA, Ares and TAW-Viewdistance. No other mods are required.
All units will gather in the staging area before the operation commences.
A game-server is still required and so requested from any of the participating GU's to provide.
Operations Order
OPORD will be available no later than May 7th 20:00 GMT
Command & additional units
2Lt. Crielaard from Batavian Tactical will be acting HiCOM and Zeus.
51st Scotish Brigade IC Maj. Mackay with Capt. D. Drake as 2IC.
51st SB's Joint Helicopter Command will provide primairy Helicopter transport and Attack support
16AA's 7 Para RHA will provide Mortar, Forward Observer and FAC to the Main attack and optionally the feint attack with CSM Field as IC.
Lowlands Tactical & 11AMB & 1stMCG will execute the feint attack as an Air Mobile infantry Platoon with Lt. Mike as IC.
Batavian Tactical's 103 SF will provide Special Recce, Forward Observer and FAC to the feint attack with Sgt. Miller as IC.
Batavian Tactical's Skyline will provide 1-ship A-10 support to the feint attack and is lead by Lt. Styles
Lowlands Tactical & 11AMB will execute the feint attack as an Air Mobile infantry Platoon with Cdr. Ligthert as IC.
Batavian Tactical's 103 SF will provide Special Recce, Forward Observer and FAC to the feint attack with Sgt. Miller as IC.
Batavian Tactical's Skyline will provide 2-ship A-10 support to the feint attack lead by Cpt. Kruis
